Nam's upcoming project

The senior art show was an unforgettable part of my senior year, so it certainly felt a little strange at first to find myself sitting in the same room my art was critiqued in a year ago. Yet at the same time, I couldn't help but feeling thrilled as it was the perfect opportunity to start a new project and get valuable feedback from the artists within my community.

This time around, I want to use my artistic and creative abilities to create an advertising campaign. The project would also require me to understand the human mind, think strategically and broadly enough so that the results are not only interesting art but also effective communication. The final plan could consist of any combinations of forms, from print ad to TV commercials, digital, etc., all of which serve to communicate one single message.

I was browsing the web to find possible "clients," and the two top options as of right now are the Lookout app by Google, and a children toy named Turing Tumble.

- Lookout is a mobile app currently developed by Google that helps the blind and the visually impaired better navigate their environment. A device equipped with this app will be able to act as the extra "eye" of the user, which then communicates the key information to them through audio.

- On the other hand, Turing Tumble is an innovative toy that allows children to learn about logic and computer algorithm through hands-on experience. The puzzle form makes learning a fun and engaging process.

I'm leaning toward Lookout, but either of these two will be a fun assignment to work on.
