At least this time I have solid progress pictures. I have the shell on the snail pretty much done, so all I have to do now is add the details to the body, and the tagline. I'm making headway on the lungs/tree one also; the wavy brown part is gonna be modeled after the mountains right outside Williamsport, and I'm really exited to paint that because I've wanted to draw them for a while because I think they're beauuutiful. I saw some really nice leaf-changing happening along the highway on my way home this weekend, so that's a nice little inspiration boost for that.
I also finished "What the Hawk". I might paint white inside the letters to clean up the edges, but other than that it's finished. I like how it turned out, and using the markers on the illustration board was really nice, the board really soaks them up.
I've kind of hit a wall on the first painting I started, with the astronaut, but hopefully I can force myself to work on it, or I'll feel better about it once I finish some other things.
