Tintypes and Tintypes. - Laura Brennan

I finally have the strobes back, and hopefully for good.  As of right now I have attempted over 60 tintypes (not all successful) and have a total of 34 different subjects.  My goal is to reach 50 different people, and the way things have been going, I'm not too concerned about not reaching that goal. If I can manage it into my budget and the time I have next semester, I'd like to maybe even exceed 50.  I'm pretty proud with how things have been going.  I still have to scan roughly 3/4 of the tintypes just so I can have a digital copy of everything in case something were to happen.  I'm still not sure if I want to make prints from the scans. I will probably do a few prints just to see how they look. I'm super excited with how things have been going. Now that I shouldn't have to worry about not having the strobes, I should be able to keep producing things very smoothly! Below are just some of the ones I have done, along with some scanned ones that have not been retouched.
