Kelsey Rawson Final Post

Here are all my paintings this semester.  These top four are my most complete and I will only make minor adjustments with some light glazing next semester. 

These next two I believe to be close to done.  I have the concept I want completely painted, but I feel these two pieces look the least like the rest, almost so they don't fit in.  I may make minor changes to them in the spring semester or if I hear the need, I may change them even more drastically.

These last three paintings, I believe need the most work.  With the first two I am comfortable that the concept is being portrayed how I would like.  I just need a few more layers of paint and glaze to add details.   The final piece is Bi Polar, the stereotype.  I just have not felt comfortable with this piece, I am hoping that in the spring semester, once I start its comparison piece I will have more of an idea of where to go. 

That will bring my total painting count to 10 pieces.  I believe that is similar to what I initially wanted in the proposal.  I have thought about an 11th piece that would be on a larger canvas and sort of summarize my entire concept and act as the main focal point for my series.  I am not sure if I want to treat my current pieces as details or not.
